The Onshorisation of Funds in Asia – Game Changer or Hype?
27 Jan 2021
2020 has witnessed the launch of two new onshore fund structures in Asia: the Hong Kong Limited Partnership Fund (LPF) and the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC). The emergence of onshore investment structures in Asia provides regionally-based fund managers with alternative options closer to home.
James Donnan, our Regional Managing Director of Asia Pacific will join the speakers from Privium Fund Management and EY at a webinar hosted by Dutch Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong on 27 January at 5pm (HKT), discussing ‘The Onshorisation of Funds in Asia – ‘Game Changer or Hype?’.
At the webinar, the speakers will discuss a range of topical questions, including what is driving the initiative to bring investment funds onshore, as a fund manager, which vehicle will best suit my strategy and investors and what are the key tax issues for investors to look out for.
