Intertrust, a global leader in providing expert administrative services to clients operating and investing in the international business environment, today announces the opening of a new office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (“ADGM”).

The new office in Abu Dhabi’s financial centre will expand Intertrust’s existing presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and consolidate its position as one of the leading corporate services providers in the region.

Intertrust has been active in the UAE for over 17 years and services a growing number of international and GCC multinationals. The Abu Dhabi office, led by Managing Director of UAE, Patricia ‘t Hart-van Rooijen, will enable Intertrust to provide its clients with access to the ADGM’s best-in-class independent regulatory framework and a variety of legal structures including its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

HP van Asselt, Chief Commercial Officer of Intertrust, comments: “We are delighted to be expanding our presence in the UAE by opening the new office in the ADGM. We are well-established in the financial centre of Dubai, the DIFC, and are pleased to be taking our commitment a step further by expanding our presence into this exciting financial centre. Clients and business partners alike have shown a strong appetite for structuring their assets using the ADGM regime and we have every confidence that this office will enable us to continue going from strength to strength in the UAE.”

Dhaher Bin Dhaher Al Mheiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Registration Authority, said: “We welcome Intertrust to the corporate community and for choosing ADGM as their IFC in expanding their global presence. As a leading business and financial centre, ADGM is committed to an open, efficient and innovative ecosystem for its members and stakeholders to succeed. We look forward to working closely with more local and global entities, such like Intertrust, in providing innovative services and solutions to support the businesses in Abu Dhabi and the MENA region.”
