Intertrust opens office in Chicago

Intertrust N.V. (“Intertrust” or “Company”) [ticker symbol INTER] a leading global provider of high-value trust and corporate services is pleased to announce the opening of a new sales/representative office in Chicago, United States.
By opening an office in Chicago, Intertrust will be well-positioned to serve clients and business partners in the Midwest of the United States, a key economic center. Intertrust has been active in the United States for many years, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Delaware, Houston and Atlanta.

Expanding its sales network in the US through an office in Chicago contributes to further organic growth of its global network, allowing Intertrust to serve clients with a personal approach, wherever they want to do business.

Intertrust has appointed Xander Benjamins as Vice President to start up and manage this office. “Many of Intertrust’s existing clients within this region have expanded their operations globally or are investing abroad, for which they work with Intertrust. Our global presence means that we can offer them seamless service for all their international needs.” says David de Buck, Chief Executive Officer. “Having an experienced professional like Xander in this region is a real added-value to our clients.”

Xander will mainly focus on business development initiatives and specifically maintain and expand relationships with US clients. He has extensive experience in the trust and corporate services industry and previously was Global Account Director at another global provider. Prior to entering the trust and corporate services sector, Xander spent 6 years with the Netherland Foreign Investment Agency, a division of het Dutch Ministry of Economic affairs, in Chicago.
