Join us at the London City Swim

And help fight MND on 22 September 2017!

We are proud to be the main sponsor of the first London City Swim. The charity event will take place on 22 September 2017 and involves a unique open water swim at London's historic Royal Victoria Docks. The London City Swim will seek to increase awareness and raise much needed funds for Motor Neuron Disease (MND), internationally known as ALS (Amyoptrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

The money raised will be used to support project MinE - a major international genome research project to understand the genetic basis of MND. This knowledge is fundamental in the search for effective treatments. The event and Project MinE are supported by the Stephen Hawking Foundation and the MND Association.

You're invited!

We feel passionately about this cause and have made a commitment as the main sponsor. But that's not all. We'll also be taking part in the water. And, we'd like to encourage firms across London to put forward swimmers of all levels to join us in September for what will be a fantastic evening.

The race aims to attract around 500 swimmers who, in teams of four, will each cover 500 metres. The fastest swimmers from the team event will then compete in a 200 metre sprint finale. Once the swimming has finished, we're inviting swimmers and supporters to enjoy an evening of hospitality with food and drinks, and watch show races from elite swimmers.

We hope you're as excited as we are and ready to jump in the water!
