Intertrust in Jersey has appointed a new client director in its Performance & Reward Management (PRM) team.

Shervin Binesh will lead the strategy to evolve the team’s provision of high quality trustee and administration services for share plans, deferred compensation plans and pensions and savings plans to large corporates.

Mr Binesh, who joined Intertrust in May, will coordinate the management of the PRM team’s system capabilities and strategic development of solutions affecting the commercial success of PRM. He assumes overall responsibility to lead collaborations with key business partners and engagement with existing and new clients.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Mr Binesh most recently worked at Link Asset Services as an account director with senior oversight for some of their largest clients and was a member of the senior management team in London.

Shane Hugill, Director of Performance & Reward Management at Intertrust in Jersey, said: “I am pleased to welcome Shervin to Intertrust. He brings a huge amount of experience in working with large listed companies and understands their needs and requirements. He’s commercially minded and has a strong industry network with corporates and business partners in London.”

Mr Binesh said: “I’m looking forward to continuing to develop the PRM business. Intertrust has an extensive global footprint and their professional and flexible approach to clients, as well as their growth ambitions and willingness to invest in systems and people, is what attracted me to the role.”

With both the Employee Share Plans and Company Secretarial & Share Registration Practice certificates from ICSA, Mr Binesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
