Intertrust appoints Head of UK Business Development for Funds

Intertrust, a global leader in providing tech-enabled fund and corporate solutions to clients operating and investing in the international business environment, has appointed Edwin Chan as Director, Head of UK Business Development for their fund’s division.

Based in the London office, he will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and intermediaries and developing new opportunities for Intertrust’s offices across the globe. He will have responsibility for driving the funds sales activity in the UK and ensuring the funds team continues to deliver an outstanding performance.

With over two decades of industry experience, Edwin joins Intertrust with a proven track record across multiple disciplines including banking, governance, sales, private capital funds, hedge funds and asset management.

Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Business Development in EMEA for Northern Trust, where he led the PERE fund sector business development within EMEA, and Senior Director at SS&C GlobeOp.

Prior to that he served 5 years at Wells Fargo Global Fund Services in a variety of different roles including Global Head of Fund Accounting and has also been Senior Vice President of Fund Services at HSBC Alternative Fund Services in Hong Kong as well as working in Bermuda with
BISYS. He earnt his ACA qualification with PwC London.
