Intertrust, a leading provider of tech-enabled corporate and fund solutions to clients operating and investing in the international investment environment, has assisted Bansk Group (Bansk) with the launch and ongoing servicing of their new private fund structure. The fund has been established as a Guernsey Private Investment Fund (PIF), comprising Bansk Group GP Limited and Bansk Group LP.

The sole purpose of the fund is to act as a private investment vehicle for the assets of a family trust and recently completed its initial close at circa US$1.1 billion.

Bansk is an investment group focused on delivering superior returns for the family trust’s assets and invests in a wide range of public and private companies.

The Bansk investment approach is directed by its managing partners, who have a wealth of experience in the branded consumer space. In addition to driving strong top line growth, Bansk seeks to achieve above average returns through its proven cost and cash optimisation programs. These programs not only enhance profits and lead to rapid de-leveraging, but also create the flexibility for investments in the expansion of the business or for add-on acquisitions.

Intertrust assisted Bansk with the launch of the PIF structure. Andrew Maiden, Director – Intertrust fund services team in Guernsey, commented:

“Intertrust is delighted to have been appointed as the preferred administration service provider for Bansk. This is a significant new fund to the island and our expertise working with new managers is a valuable addition to our client service. Our involvement with Bansk highlights our expertise in the servicing of alternative fund structures and our global service offering which has allowed us to meet the needs of Bansk. In utilising the PIF structure, we were able to put in place a solution within the timeframes required, allowing Bansk to focus on implementing their ongoing and successful investment strategy.”
