Intertrust Group Company Statement – Ukraine

At Intertrust Group, we believe that a new era of responsible growth can only be built on the most robust of foundations. We play a crucial role in building those foundations. We understand that laws and regulations are a positive force for business – and society. And we’ll choose to work with clients that share our values.

We are shocked and deeply saddened by the ongoing events in Ukraine. In the last two weeks, more than 900 Russian, Belarusian and breakaway Ukrainian individuals and organisations have been sanctioned by governments around the world. Our Global Risk & Compliance teams have been closely monitoring these daily developments and ensuring we comply. But we feel we should do more.

In line with our purpose, we have decided that we will not accept any new Russian clients across our 45 locations. Furthermore, to demonstrate our commitment to acting responsibly, we have started the process of exiting all current Russian clients.

To help support those affected, we have pledged €100K to help provide immediate assistance to those affected by the crisis in Ukraine.

We are also announcing the introduction of an initiative to help the displaced people of Ukraine. To demonstrate our support for the EU Temporary Protection Directive, any Ukrainian national who has been displaced by the conflict will be encouraged to apply for any appropriate job vacancies in any of our locations on the European continent (19 countries). We will prioritise their applications, expedite their interview processes, provide support for their visa applications and help them, and their families, to settle in their new communities.
