Intertrust Group deepens its client experience with three senior roles
22 July 2020
Allison Whaley takes on new responsibilities as Head of Fund Client Service in Luxembourg, with Matt Breuer and Derek Russell joining her team as Client Directors
Luxembourg, 17 July 2020
Intertrust Group, a global leader in providing tech-enabled corporate and fund solutions, continues to strengthen its leadership team in Luxembourg and specifically its funds segment.
Intertrust Group announced a number of key appointments, firstly, Allison Whaley as Head of Fund Client Service in Luxembourg. In her new role, Allison will be accountable for the overall client experience and helping them transition to the Intertrust digital platform. Joining Allison’s team as Client Directors are Matt Breuer and Derek Russell. Last May, Intertrust also appointed Derek Ramage to head up the Fund Operations team which is accountable for the service delivery and operational excellence of the fund’s client segment.
This newly formed fund team is charged with delivering a client experience that surpasses industry benchmarks, building and developing client partnerships with the foundation of first-class service delivery and operational excellence. Central to the fund team’s charter is the expansion and continuous improvement of the portfolio of funds service offerings, leveraging the capabilities that Intertrust’s global technology group has to offer.
Prior to joining Intertrust, Allison was with JPMorgan Chase & Co for six years in London where she served as Global Head of Funds Custody. She held also various positions at Citco Fund Services and Eton Park Capital Management.
Matt joined from TMF Group, where he was most recently head of transfer agent services. Before this, he worked at BBH in the alternative custody department. Derek Russell was with State Street for nine years in both Luxembourg and Japan. Most recently, he was Head of Cross-Border Fund Client Services, servicing asset managers from the company’s Japan office.
Lee Godfrey, Managing Director Western Europe, said: “Allison’s new role and the appointment of the team are part of Intertrust’s Western European long-term growth strategy, and our focus on the interactions between our clients and the organisation throughout the client lifecycle. I’m confident that, together with her team, Allison is best placed to deliver further improvements which meet, and exceed, our clients’ expectations.”
Allison Whaley added: “I’m delighted to be building Intertrust’s client centric team in Luxembourg. This will further help us drive change, develop an in-depth understanding of our clients across the business, and meet our clients’ specific needs and unique opportunities.”
