With its Luxembourg AIFM, Intertrust Luxembourg is now strongly positioned to offer a ‘one stop shop’ of fully integrated fund services, covering AIFM, Central Administration and Depositary services for existing and prospective clients.

The Luxembourg AIFM team, with wide expertise in risk management, portfolio management, legal matters and compliance, is ready to provide flexible and tailor-made solutions to third-party clients.
This AIFM service offering from Luxembourg will complement the existing AIFM service offering from Intertrust Ireland, which has been successfully operating in the region since February 2015.

Paul Lawrence, global head of Fund Services at Intertrust said:
“The AIFMD prompted a transformational shift in the EU alternative funds landscape by introducing EU passporting, compulsory regulation and significant reporting requirements. Intertrust’s management company can reduce the burden on investment managers and fund promoters by performing many of the AIFMD related duties. Therefore, our AIFM authorisation will be welcome news for both existing and prospective clients, who can now focus more of their time on core asset management activities.”

Frank Welman, managing director of Intertrust Luxembourg, said:
“We pride ourselves on our practical and personal approach, while providing highly responsive support to our clients. I look forward to supporting our AIFM team in providing this service, which is a natural extension of our existing offering and reinforces our already strong position in the Luxembourg funds market.”
