Senior appointments in Jersey
18 December 2018
We have made two appointments to our senior team to shape the future direction of the business.
Tania Bearryman has been appointed as Executive Director, Trust & Company Services where she will have oversight of Intertrust’s Private Wealth, Treasury & Investments, Capital Markets, Corporate Services and Performance & Reward Management service lines.
As the previous Head of Performance & Reward Management, Mrs Bearryman takes on this expanded role to ensure that the service lines are aligned in realising Intertrust’s objectives and vision for its Jersey office.
Mrs Bearryman will further build on Intertrust’s client focus and ensure the most effective technological innovations are used to enhance the services offered to clients. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Shane Hugill has been promoted to the Head of Performance & Reward Management; he was previously Director of the team and has been instrumental in developing the specialist offering which encompasses pension and savings plans, deferred compensation plans and share plans.
In Mr Hugill’s new role he will continue this work and ensure that the service line, which has undergone significant growth in recent years, expands further from its Jersey base into the Intertrust Group’s other jurisdictions.
Mr Hugill comes from a share tax advisory background in the UK and is qualified under the Association of Taxation Technician examinations.
Simon Mackenzie, Managing Director of Intertrust in Jersey, said: “Shane and Tania have both been integral in the growth and success of our Performance & Reward Management team and these new roles are recognition of their expertise and importance to Intertrust.”
“We strive to provide exceptional client service and this is increasingly being delivered not just through our excellent employees, but also through solutions driven by technology. In their senior roles Tania and Shane will be looking to further develop our digital offering for the benefit of our clients and I look forward to working with them to achieve this.”
