We are delighted to welcome Christophe Bringuier, who has just joined us in Hong Kong as Operations Director for Asia Pacific (APAC). Christophe will take over from Michael Moncarz to lead our APAC operations, while Michael takes up the role as Managing Director in Singapore.

With 20 years of operations experience across various industries in multicultural and cross-functional contexts, Christophe will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of global and regional initiatives as part of our operational transformation journey, with the objective to better enable continued growth and expansion of our business in APAC. James Donnan, Managing Director of Asia Pacific caught up with Christophe to learn more about his plans for his new role. Read on for key highlights from our conversation.

Q: Tell us about yourself and how you feel about joining Intertrust Group?

Christophe: “I have actually worked for Intertrust Group before, based in the Hong Kong office between 2011 and 2016, and I am happy to rejoin the Group to assume this regional role. I have been warmly welcomed by the team and feel excited to meet old colleagues and new people. Most recently, I have worked for another corporate and trust services provider dedicated to leading a range of global projects as well as integration and enhancement initiatives in Asia. I hope I can leverage my extensive knowledge and experience to scale and enhance our operational backbone for future business growth.”

Q: How do you plan to lead our operational transformation journey in APAC?

Christophe: “I enjoy identifying and resolving complex problems, streamlining processes, delivering innovative solutions and digital transformation projects to increase productivity and efficiency.

“One key area of focus for me is communication and making sure that every project is in line with the global vision while reflecting local requirements. To achieve this delicate balance, I’ll work with all the different stakeholders to understand all perspectives.

“Once this is done, we’ll communicate appropriately to obtain maximum support and engagement for any changes that are needed.”

Q: Anything else you would like to add?

Christophe: “Being an accredited professional coach, I am passionate about the ‘people agenda’, including change management and organisational culture. ‘People’ is one of the core pillars of this organisation, and everything we do needs to be centered on how we can better enable and support our team (i.e. you!) to deliver our renowned quality services to our clients.”
